A few weeks ago I published a post titled "Stunning Aerial View of Antartica - Using A GoPro HERO3+ and a DJI Phantom 2 Drone" featuring the beautiful work of Swedish amateur filmmaker Kalle Ljung. I'm happy to report that I was able to talk with Kalle about his amazing adventure. I recorded our conversation and I'm pleased to be able to present that conversation in this episode of the Digital Convergence Podcast.

Kalle explains how his trip of a life-time to Antartica came about, the challenges he faced filming the aerial footage with a DJI Phantom 2 and GoPro HERO3+, and the lessons learned in editing and grading the footage. At the time I recorded the podcast, Kalle's film Antartica had amassed over 730,000 views. The popularity of his short film is certainly well deserved.

Thank you for supporting and listening to the DCP!
