The Problem With Freelancing - A Satirical Look At Freelance Video and Post-Production

Recently I gave a presentation at the Atlanta Cutters Post-Production Users Group meeting. One of the topics I discussed was the problem of freelancing. My take on it was once you do the work - assuming you are able to find work - you can no longer earn any income from the content you produced. Also, while working on the current project, it's difficult to devote time to filling up your production "pipeline". Marketing and sales take a back seat to doing the work at hand. Alas, the ecstasy and the agony of freelancing.

So imagine my delight in finding this little satirical gem on Vimeo: Freelance Filmmaking PSA. The movie is by Matthew McDonald.
